Hi! I'm the teaching artist behind this website. Odds are, you've explored my art a bit and now want to get to know the person behind it.

I was born in Ohio, studied at Columbus College of Art and Design, and received my BFA in Animation May 2019. After a couple years of working as a media producer and freelance artist, I moved to Philadelphia and worked for the first time as a teaching artist.

Working in a high school art classroom, I discovered a passion for education and have remained in the field since then. I continue to practice my artistry as freelancer and am available for animation, illustration, and video commissions.

As a teaching artist, I understand the enrichment and value of a quality arts education. My teaching focuses on developing intrinsic motivation within students, exploring a passion and sense of identity that only art can express. Art practices also refine both hard and soft skills, ranging from motor coordination to critical thinking and problem solving. As an educator, I have all the relevant security clearances to work with children and am available as a private art tutor to K-12 students in the Philadelphia area.
